Stretford Group Chairman, David Roberts, appointed Chairman for Warwick Audio.
Warwick Audio Technologies, Ltd is a UK-based technology company specialising in the development of High Precision Electrostatic Laminate audio transducers (HPELs) for Original Equipment Manufacturers. Their patented technology enables brand customers to create outstanding products, offering true Hi Resolution Audio reproduction whilst facilitating innovative design.
The HPEL concept was initially developed by Dr. Duncan Billson and Prof. David Hutchins at the University of Warwick, School of Engineering. Warwick Audio Technologies Ltd. was subsequently spun-out from the University, funded by a range of Venture Capital firms including Mercia Technologies Ltd. and Finance Wales.
Warwick Audio Technologies, Ltd. is headquartered in Henley-in-Arden, with a technical Engineering and development operation located in Warwickshire.
David Roberts said “I was delighted to become Chair of Warwick Audio. Warwick has developed a technology delivering hi-res audio for the automotive market. The speakers give superb sound but because they are wafer thin they are easy to install, can be flexed to fit into roof-lining, dashboard, headrests or any part of the vehicle. They also give hi-res sound, a sound so pure that you would never ever again go back to any other speaker system.”
This appointment adds further value to the Stretford Group portfolio and shows our continued commitment to manufacturing and innovation. We look forward to supporting Warwick Audio for many years to come.
